Mao nga angayan natong pili-on ang atong gituohan nga angayan mamuno sa katilingban.

The Dilaab Movement in Cebu helps us choose the right one. They suggest that we choose those who passed the LASER test.

What is the LASER test?

LASER stands for Lifestyle, Action, Supporters, Election Conduct and Reputation. It is the basic tool for starting and sustaining a relationship of pastoral accompaniment for both candidates and voters by pastoral companions (i.e. priests and laity).

The test embodies the qualities of a good leader as identified by the circles of discernment for elections network (CiDE). It consists of specific questions corresponding to each letter in the acronym. Candidates will be asked to answer these questions while voters will be asked to read and prayerfully discern their answers. This begins a process for raising awareness of critical issues, creating dialogue and space for conversion, a process for monitoring progress (or lack thereof) after elections.

God is not just out there up in the sky. His voice is embedded in each one of us. This voice tells us to choose good and reject evil. So, Vote God is to listen to this voice using a process that has been tested thru time.

A faith-impelled advocacy which hopes to infuse the electoral process with Christian values and for the discerning bloc to muster enough moral courage to choose good over evil, even the lesser evil, during the elections.
