It is still too early to assess his performance. The 100-day honeymoon period is not even over yet. Too pre-mature to comment.

The President has nothing to do with Hacienda Luisita. In a press conference several weeks ago, he said that the case of the landholding is now elevated to the Supreme Court. So it is the courts that will have to decide about it, not the President. He is totally hands off from that. Besides, he does not own it wholly. His family is just a stock holder.

The farmers were already given the stock distribution option, but they wanted the property to be given to them through the Certificates of Land Ownership Award. For enlightenment, one can always visit the office of the Department of Agrarian Reform as to how this thing works out. Or one should familiarize with the R.A. 6657, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Law of 1988. The case is quite complicated because ownership is plantation-based or collective. The President just cannot go and solve this problem alone. There are legal procedures to follow.
