The bridge's condition as of January 8, 2010 is impassable to any form of vehicle due to its crumbling foundation.
Thanks to Swetylanz and Mahayagnon who painstakingly took the pictures.

Thank you, Sweetylanz and Mahayagnon for your effort to bring the latest news to us. Shall we call you now correspondents from the Mahayag Bureau? Hehe..

Thank you for posting them, Zabrina. By the way, when you upload pictures here on mahayag.net, do not delete the pictures in your Photobucket account because the IMG code will be deleted as well. And you can see that Photobucket notice that an image has been removed.

When the rain comes, are we getting back to the "ferry" days? Rewind to the days when we called these water rafts M/V Meman and M/V Edot. The pictures of people wading made me reminisce of those days that when we go to the other side of the river to play with our childhood friends or visit family friends, we had to cross knee-deep waters and mother always told us to say "tabi, apo" to warn unforeseen spirits of the water that we might walk into. Haha!

Great job Zabrina...Sweetylanz and Mahayagnon,
what really is the reason behind of crumbling foundation, is that heavy rain/flood?
I think not,...

- to Sweetylanz and Mahayagnon, please take new pictures of Municipal Building and other appealing views of Mahayag, I need that for the Forum Logo.

Ang quarry to ubos, perhaps. (hehehe.. Feeling engineer nga explanation.. I'm not sure on this pero mao gyod ni ang gipanglantaw sauna pa. This reminds me of Tito M. (may he rest in peace) and his brother sa ilang advocacy kaniadto.

Louy ang mga farmer ani. Big part sa rice producing barangays sa Mahayag, tabok baya sa tulay. Plus naa pa ang dumingag. Gawas sa economic risk naa sab ang risk sa life. in emergency situations, unsaon na lang nga ang mga hospital ra ba tabok sa tulay. Haay, this make me realize how important the bridges are.

That is right.

Subo ug sakit kaayo pamalandungon nga hangtod karon, wala man lang gihapon hustisya nga ngpatigbabao!
